From advising business owners, managing directors and CEOs to supporting managers with difficult conversations and answering everyday employee questions, I provide practical HR support that fits your business. This can include contracts, handbooks and policies; recruitment and onboarding; absence and performance management; and disciplinary and grievance processes.

I can also maintain employee records, manage HR administration and act as a direct point of contact for your team. We agree the responsibilities and level of support together, so you know what is being handled and when you need to be involved in a decision.

I also deliver practical HR training and workshops to help business owners and managers build confidence in managing people and handling workplace issues.
 

Flexible support that fits your business

You may need an HR person for a regular day or two each week, a few hours of ongoing support, or extra help during a busy period. We agree an arrangement around your business, giving you dedicated HR support without employing a full-time HR manager.

Based in Suffolk, I support businesses remotely across the UK, with onsite support in Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and London by arrangement. Remote support keeps everyday HR moving, while onsite time can be used for meetings, working alongside your team and getting to know your business.

One-off HR help when you need it

You don’t need ongoing support to work with HR@Hand. If you need a contract reviewed, a handbook created, policies updated or guidance through a particular employee issue, I can step in for that piece of work.

One-off support can also include independent workplace investigations, recruitment and onboarding projects, or practical HR training and workshops. We agree the scope, fees and timescales before work begins, so you know what to expect.
